Dr. Ebru Acar was born in Uşak in 1975. After primary school, she completed her middle and high school education at Uşak Anatolian High School. After 6 years of medical training, which started in 1993 at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, she started her specialization in the field of ophthalmology and health at Izmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital in 2000. In 2004, she was appointed as an ophthalmologist at Kars State Hospital. She worked for 1.5 years at the hospital in Kars and in her private practice.
